Unless a page says otherwise, text, layout, original photos, graphics, songs, videos, animations, and other materials on this site are the property of St. John the Evangelist Parish, the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Missionhurst where applicable, or another identified owner, and are protected by U.S. and international copyright law.

You may:

• view pages for personal, non-commercial, and parish-formation use;
• share a link to a page;
• print a reasonable number of copies for personal prayer or a parish ministry, if no sale is involved.

You may not, without written permission:

• copy, scrape, or republish pages, images, songs, or videos on another website, social account, or print product;
• sell, license, or alter the materials;
• remove credits, watermarks, or copyright notices;
• use parish, diocesan, or Missionhurst names or marks as if they were your own.

Third-party works (Scripture translations, liturgical texts, hymns, stock images, fonts, music, or AI tools’ licensed assets) remain the property of their owners. Permission to use those works on this site does not give visitors a license to reuse them.

3. Scripture and liturgical texts

Biblical and liturgical excerpts, if present, are used under the terms of the copyright holders (for example USCCB, ICEL, or the publisher named on the page). Those texts generally may not be posted, reprinted, or streamed as a regular practice without the proper license. Do not copy Mass readings or Missal texts from this site onto another site.

4. Images, video, and likenesses

Photographs and recordings may include parishioners, ministers, and children. Do not download, tag, or republish images of minors. We do not post an identified photo of a child without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you see a photo of yourself or your child that should be removed, contact the parish office, and we will review it promptly.

5. Disclaimer — pastoral information only

Content is offered in good faith for evangelization, community life, catechesis, and parish communication. Confirm important matters with the parish office.

This site does not provide:

• official Archdiocese of Baltimore policy unless a document is clearly identified as such;
• legal, medical, immigration, financial, or counseling advice;
• a substitute for the sacraments, personal pastoral care, or professional help.
